The clutch was replaced with a new very high quality 3 piece clutch kits from Classic Clutches of Coventry, which included a new release bearing. The driven plate was changed for a a fine (23 spline) version to suit the output shaft from the gearbox. The operating arm was replaced with a good used one (it had cracks, and new ones are now unobtainable). The clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder and connecting pipe are all brand new. The fluid used is the Automec Silicone brake fluid (DOT5) and the system was successfully bled with the Gunson brake bleeding kit which cleverly uses the pressure from a nearby tyre.
Above can be seen the new clutch parts from Classic Clutches, the old & new operating forks and the new clutch master cylinder with new pipework to the slave.
