Main Tools Used for rewiring

Although I used modern cable, I used traditional methods of connections – bullets and snap connectors and female blade terminals. These were used in the factory to speed things up as no soldering, which would have been time consuming, was required.

A set of good quality wire cutters (above) are worth their weight in gold!

This is essential for a neat ‘strip’ the length of which is adjustable.

This essential for crimping the female blade terminals commonly used to attach to switches and various components.

Finally the following tool is useful in inserting bullet connectors into common snap connectors:
