I was surprised by the extent of the work which needed doing!

Out of the garage, and transported to Ledsham by Paul. Seen off by Maddie & our dog, Cleo!

Below is Southside Classic & Custom on October 4th. They have started work on my car (just visible inside the doorway on the left).

Below, master panelbeater Adam starting work!

A list of additional panels to get from James Paddocks!

Some pictures of progress so far from Steve.

Monday October 10th 2016

Some more photos from Steve “As requested, some more photos of rust removal and new panel fitting, you may notice, in the photo of the top of the door, we are fitting a filler piece to reduce the size of the gap between the top of the door and the scuttle closure gap”. Update 28/10/16: The team at Southside were not satisfied with the integrity of the driver’s door (there was movement where there shouldn’t be), so they are reskinning it!

Cavities are injected with DINITROL® to protect from further rust!

Further picture taken during my visit. Adam starts work on the nearside/LH. Inner sills welded on, and painted with weld-through primer

The completed offside/RH. The door gaps achieved are probably as good as, if not better than when the car was new!

Friday October 14th 2016

Another update from Steve. The nearside/LH sill & rear inner wheelarch.

The new floor piece welded in (including the body/chassis mount).

Wednesday 19th October 2016

LAnother update. Steve says “We would highly recommend that you purchase a new door skin for the near side as its pretty botched up on the inside lip. You will also see in some of the pictures where we have had to make plates up due to excessive rust in that area”
